Join Jennifer in her personal kitchen one more time as she shares an experiment recipe with us for the first time: Detox Cabbage Soup. This particular recipe comes from Wise Mind, Healthy Body.

Now, just because this recipe has both the words “detox” and “cabbage” in it doesn’t mean you should run away just yet. If you take a moment and research the benefits of both of these, you may find out this is exactly what you’ve been looking for!
Detox Cabbage Soup Recipe
- 4 cups cut cabbage
- 1 cup of chicken
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 1/2 cups of bone broth
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated root
- 1 tablespoon of ghee, coconut oil, or another “fat”
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
Melt your fat in the soup pan and add your cabbage and celery. Heat them on your stovetop for a few minutes until they’re a few steps shy of being completely cooked and then add your minced garlic. Sauté for another minute, then add your grated ginger, chicken, and bone broth. Continue to heat this on your stovetop until it’s reached your desired level of denseness.
You can also add some cilantro or other spices for extra flavor! This recipe just more more way to be #Fitfor2018!
