TOPIC: Anxiety, Meltdowns and Aggressive Behavior
Specifically for parents/caretakers of PRE-K-5TH GRADE
Wednesday, March 24th, 6pm-8pm

Whether it’s typical age-appropriate behavior or something more, navigating kids through anxiety, meltdowns and aggression can be super challenging especially when parents are experiencing more stress than ever. But there is hope! Cornerstone of Hope wants to equip you as parents with some education regarding your child’s brain and development along with some very practical skills for both you and your child to implement immediately to help manage the emotions behind anxiety, meltdowns and aggressive behavior in healthy ways!
Attendees will learn:
  • Developmental shifts and norms in Pre-K-5th grade students that impact emotions, behavior and communication
  • Psychoeducation on how your child’s brain is wired
  • At least 5 practical strategies to equip parents to help their child manage anxiety, meltdowns and aggressive behavior
TOPIC: Anxiety and Depression
Specifically for parents/caregivers of MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL students
Thursday, March 25th, 6:30pm-8:30pm
Cost: $20 per person/each additional family member $10
Parenting through adolescents is tricky enough, but add in trying to parent through a pandemic with all of the additional stressors and changes in norms that brings, and it gets even more challenging. But there is hope! Cornerstone of Hope wants to equip you as parents with some education regarding your teenager’s brain and development along with some very practical skills for both you and your teens to implement immediately to help manage anxiety and depression in healthy ways.
Attendees will learn:
  • Developmental shifts and norms in middle/high school students that impact anxiety, depression and communication
  • Psychoeducation on how your student’s brain is wired
  • At least 5 practical strategies to equip parents to help middle/high school students manage anxiety and depression
