You make no commitment to be a part of this ministry by attending this seminar. However, attendance at this event is one of the requirements to become an active part of the Power2Change ministry.

Power2Change is a new Paulding County ministry focused on helping individuals with both prevention and recovery from addictions on an ongoing basis.  Through prayer, small group Biblical studies and personal mentoring done by church endorsed, qualified/trained individuals, we help our community discover the life-changing hope, faith, and freedom in Christ. Our group is made up of local Paulding county citizens, pastors, and community leaders who care passionately about seeing this problem addressed and people freed from addictions to become all they can be in Christ!  Many in our initial group have family members who have been or currently struggle with addiction issues. The need for a faith-based ministry approach to help with the opioid addiction crisis in Ohio was highlighted by then Atty. Gen. Michael Dewine.  This was heightened by Darryl Strawberry presentation in the Paulding community and Van Wert in April of 2018.  Power2Change will utilize the curriculum-based ministry model of Living Free Community.  All of our current members have successfully completed the first required course in the Living Free Curriculum. You can learn more about Living Free at the headquarters website https://livingfree.org/.
