Join us for a night of refreshments, enjoyment, and dancing in an atmosphere that can only be found at unique venue. The original builders of the mansion, the Jones family, where known to throw lavish parties and events when they lived in the home well over a century ago. Now you too, can journey back to the gaslight era and experience a rare night of Victorian entertainment in the original parlors of this historic landmark.

Included in the price of each ticket are dance lessons, d’oeuvres, a souvenir dance card, costumed serving staff to take care of your every need, and the rare opportunity to travel back to the gaslight era. No dance experience is needed to attend this event, just a willingness to learn or desire to watch. Dance mistress, Sue Pfeiffer will be calling the dances.

A dance workshop is included in the price of a ticket and will be held the morning of the ball from 10:00am to noon at the mansion. This special class is meant for dancers both experienced and new to practice the dances beforehand and get to know fellow ball goers.

Guests are not required to wear historic attire however it is encouraged. However, because of the formal nature of the event guests who chose to wear modern clothing are asked to avoid casual attire such as jeans, t-shirts, and flipflops. Dancers, both male and female are asked to wear gloves so that delicate clothing may be protected. We are also requesting that gentlemen who have heel plates on their shoes cover them beforehand so damage is not caused to the original parquet floors. Changing rooms are available for those who would prefer to get ready at the mansion prior to the dance.

A limited number of tickets are now available on a first come first served basis. Tickets are $35 per person. Tickets can be purchased only by calling the Jones Mansion at 419-427-6110. Please leave a message, your call will be date and time stamped so that a first call, first served, policy can be adhered to. Please no Facebook messages or other forms of communications regarding ticket sales.

Proceeds from this event go towards the continued restoration and upkeep of the 1867 Jones Mansion.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

NOTE that personal cancellations or no-shows will not be refunded or applied to a future event. You may personally transfer your ticket to someone else. Please understand your meal and entertainment has been paid for and we do not get refunds or credit for those that do not show. In the case of an event cancellations or circumstances beyond our control we offer no refunds on tickets. Every effort will be made to reschedule the event. Your ticket can be applied to that or any future event. Watch for a Facebook post or personal text for up to date information about cancellations.
