The days of a “snowy” WNHO picture will soon be over as we convert to a new HD signal.  The transmission site is located just east of Sherwood and will host a both a new transmitter and antenna.  As way of update, the transmitter building has been installed and the state-of-the-art GatesAir transmitter has been delivered to the site. A tower crew arrived on site the week of September 2, but we still have another crew that needs to come before the antenna can be put into commission. We will keep you posted on a re-scan date as soon as we have it!

All OTA viewers will need to rescan their TV sets in order to receive the new signal. The channel lineup will appear as the following:

26.1  WNHO (Northwest Ohio Community Programming)

26.2  WTLW (Lima Christian TV)

26.3  WOSN (West Ohio Sports Network)

STAY TUNED FOR A RESCAN DAY SOMETIME IN LATE AUGUST!

  1. JD, if you have already re-scanned since our we turned on our new antenna, and are able to watch TV-44 and WOSN, then you don’t need to do anything further. However, if you are still not getting our channel, give us a call and we’ll talk through your antenna set up. The antenna on our Sherwood tower (Defiance area) was installed this week. However, there is still several weeks of work to do before we can put it into activation. We will announce a re-scan date for Channel 26 as soon as we have it. In the meantime, you are welcome to call us at 419-339-4444.
